If you have that annoying buzzing sound in your house, one great method to get the fly out, which can usually be very hard to catch, is open your doors and turn off all of the lights in your house. The flies are attracted to light and will make their way towards the light outside, just be ready to shut the doors behind them. This works surprisingly well.
